A subsequent investigation should include cultures which vary upon more of the dimensions. This study raises several issues for further research. First, replicating it in a wider range of national cultures can test the cross-cultural robustness of its findings. The extent to which the findings of this study are generalisable across different countries is unknown. To shed light on this issue, researchers have to replicate this study in a wider range of cultures. Countries high on power distance or individualistic (or both) can be explored to determine which factors affecting IS voluntary turnover have a greater impact in these national cultures.
