History was made at QOTR’s ‘NHB 2’ event when Bonnie Godiva and 40 B.A.R.R.S teamed up to battle K Shine and DNA in the first ever top tier two on two inter-gender battle.
DNA and K Shine had already participated in two on two battles, so they had more experience than the ladies did in that department. DNA is known for his stupendous ability to freestyle and his intricate bars. K Shine is known for his performance, aggression and his lyrical bars.
Bonnie Godiva is known for her hard-hitting punchlines, wordplay and aggression. 40 B.A.R.R.S is known for her complex schemes and laid-back delivery. Both battlers are barheavy, so the battle rap fans predicted that they would come with an abundance of meticulous bars.
When the match-up was first announced, a lot of people predicted that DNA and K Shine would win the battle because their chemistry is phenomenal. Bonnie and 40 have never teamed up before, so everyone was skeptical about their chemistry. However, the ladies exceeded everybody’s expectations in the battle; their chemistry was outstanding. It was evident that they had been working hard on perfecting it.
Both teams were neck and neck and they were relentlessly going back and forth; Bonnie and 40’s multitudinous and perplexing lyrical bars were cleverly crafted and they undoubtedly matched DNA and K Shine’s chemistry. DNA and K Shine had several uproarious jokes and their performance was top notch. Neither team were one dimensional; the ladies didn’t just bring bars. They had witty jokes and they really stepped up their performance. The guys didn’t just have jokes; they mixed it up by spitting clever bars.
